March 20th marks the equinox and the first day of Spring. The balance of light and dark help stir our anticipation for warmer days and sunshine, restoring our energy. Although the freeze from winter may still be present, trees are beginning to bud, early spring flowers are growing and now is the time to prepare your home and heart for the brighter and more active months ahead. A deep clean and organization creates space for new projects and summer get togethers. It’s also a good time to do a gentle detox to help shed the heaviness of winter - think whole foods, lots of fiber and lean protein.

The Spring Equinox represents an energetic on-switch where we begin to find excitement and momentum after the long winter days of hibernation — set intentions that involve fresh opportunities. What new things would you like to focus on this year?!

Here’s the scoop; the way social media has been operating is not in line with my values. And instead of continuing to ‘just play the game’ I’ve decided to level-up.💥

I have found a way to create an app through my website builder that will allow us to connect with more authenticity; no adds, negative content or mismatched algorithms.👏🏻

I also feel strongly that if you are looking for health-related content, it should be with educated, licensed professionals. That’s me! The app will be full of holistic health tips and advice that you can trust - no AI, misinformation or influencers trying to sell you snake oil.👩🏻‍⚕️

This has been a year of reclamation and owning the power of my choice. I have been making moves to truly live by the values I hold. More to come on all that I’ve been up to…on the app.😉

For now, I am plugging away and creativity is flowing! Stay tuned for updates as the app launches.🚀

🤍 Mr. Oz has a new friend 🤍

Since moving last fall, Oz hasn’t been at the clinic. We miss him and his loving presence. But he is thriving in retirement. And now he has a new friend to keep him company! Bengi is a 14 year old female Bengal that I adopted last month from Heaven Can Wait. It’s been a slow process of introducing them and getting them used to the new routine but I think they will be BFFs in no time. They love wet food, lying in the sun and watching birds. Bengi also loves to play and Oz would rather snuggle - yin and yang.🐈🐈‍⬛

I just wanted everyone to know that Oz is doing well and loving life!🥰
